The larger wheels are a definite advantage. So yes, if you go for the biggest bike ready for them. Another thing, while the weight is always a problem in historical performance practice, cycling and weight of the wheel is important to speed with young drivers. The bicycle is a higher weight% of the total weight of the young. One middle-aged book means little for a man of 180 pounds, compared with a child 40-50 pounds. Insert it into the lightest bike you can afford.
